My SSP manuscript is back from the continuity editors and I’m doing final revisions on it right now. I hope to have it off to the line editor by the end of the week, so please, send me some “no distractions” vibes!
And I finally have permission to share a few details about the project…
There will be 12 books, one released every Thursday starting September 29th. Since mine is book 4, it comes out October 20th.
These books are set in a small town and are centered around a hotel. Each story stands on its own, so there’s a new romance in every book. However, there’s an overarching romance for one couple whose story is wrapped up in book 12. Fun!
The books are all written for the “sweet” market, so you wouldn’t be embarrassed if you gift a copy to your mother or grandmother. 🙂
I may have mentioned before that my heroine is a building contractor and my hero is a billionaire. Have I mentioned that they share a secret…one which could destroy my heroine’s reputation and her relationship with her grandfather.
Do you want to know more? Coming soon…the story description and the cover reveal!
Sounds like a fun project! Good luck with revisions, especially with avoiding distractions. 😀
Distractions all day today, wouldn’t you know it. LOL! Vehicle in for some maintenance and a hair appointment. Still, I managed to finish revisions on the first 3 chapters. I’m happy! 🙂
Ooooo – the suspense is killing me. Sounds like fun. Keep us updated so we can follow this cast of characters.
As a B & B owner, this project sounds especially fun. You should have come for a visit first, however. You know, research and all. Maybe next time.
Can’t wait.

A research trip to your B&B would be awesome, Patricia! I must add that to my bucket list! 🙂
Well now your super secret project is not so secret anymore! Lol! Sounds like there’s a lot going on in that town. Especially at the hotel. I like that you have a woman contractor. It makes for an interesting relationship with a billionaire. Glad the edits are coming along. I look forward to the updates! Go Sheila!
Thanks, Karen. I’ve been wanting to write a story with a billionaire in it, and this was my chance. 🙂
Can’t wait to read about your SSP in the future!
